Chapter 10

The secret room was unlike anything they had ever seen. It was a small study with a desk and bookshelves that were filled with books, journals, maps and charts. There was a map on the desk that showed different locations around the world marked with pins and labels. There were charts and drawings on the wall that had Greek symbols and diagrams. There was also a fireplace with a mantel that had candles, statues and ornaments.

The sisters were amazed by what they saw. They wondered what their grandmother was doing in this secret room, what she was studying and researching. Do their parents know about this room? They picked up some of the journals and started to read them. They discovered that their grandmother was an adventurer and an explorer who had traveled to many places and learned about many cultures. She had also been interested in ancient mysteries and legends, especially those related to Greek mythology.

They read about her encounters with strange creatures, hidden temples, lost civilizations and magical artifacts. They read about her quests for knowledge and wisdom, her challenges and dangers, her friends and enemies. They read about her passion and curiosity, her courage and determination, her love and loyalty.

They realized that their grandmother was not just an old lady who liked to knit and bake cookies. She was a hero who had lived an extraordinary life. She had secrets that she wanted to protect and share with them. She had stories that she wanted to tell them.

Holly, Molly and Dolly felt a new admiration and respect for their grandmother. They also felt a new connection and curiosity about her world. They decided to keep the secret room a secret between them and their grandmother. They also decided to ask her more questions about her adventures and learn from her experiences.

They put everything back where they found it and left the secret room. They closed the door behind them and moved the bookcase back in place. They went back downstairs and waited for their grandmother to return.

They felt certain that their grandmother will tell them more about the room... the answers are in there, somewhere!
